Preparing web hosting begins with an inventory: files, database, domain, versions, extensions and planned tasks. Forms and external tools are also part of the service provided to the visitor.

The visitor sees pages, a search engine or a contact request. Their functioning also depends on resources and less visible exchanges. We prepare the move around these routes, with your agency or your technical manager.
An inventory that goes beyond the files
A domain can serve the site, emails and several applications. We identify the relevant records, the access holder and the services to be retained. On the application side, the inventory specifies PHP and database versions, extensions, planned tasks, document folders and external connections. A shop also asks to know its catalogue, payment and transport exchanges. This survey avoids moving the visible part by leaving an indispensable treatment in the old environment.
A working copy and targeted tests
The prepared environment is used to check the pages and functions retained in the project. A form must be checked until its request is received, a connection to the expected space, an import to the data present in the target. Test messages are identified with the data subjects. Tests on payments or external services use, where available, the publisher's testing resources. Code and connector modifications are framed with Dtouch.
A rocker with a decision point
Before the change, we specify the intervention period, the latest data to be taken back and the return conditions. For a site that continues to receive orders, you must choose how to process the writes produced between the first copy and the switchover. DNS accesses and cache times are part of this preparation. Commissioning then includes verifications of public addresses, certificates and chosen functions, with monitoring of points remaining open.
Elements to send to us
The name of the site, its current operation, the contact person responsible for the field, known technologies and sensitive periods allow a useful first exchange. Add the essential functions: appointment scheduling, quotes, orders, multilingual catalog or customer portal. Technical access is transmitted by a suitable means after identification of the interlocutors. The result of the study specifies the scope of accommodation, the contributions expected from each stakeholder and the controls to be carried out.
