Adjust resources to applications and their constraints.
Prepare changes, backups and recovery opportunities.
Keep a contact person who knows the environments and uses.
The number of users, application load and space occupied by data guide the choice of resources. We examine these needs before defining the computing and storage capacities.
Virtualization allows multiple environments to operate on a common infrastructure. Its interest depends on the load, the expected availability and the backup means; the sizing is verified in actual operation.
Developments are prepared based on uses and supervision. Additional capacity responds to an identified need rather than an accumulation of resources without monitoring.
Supervision, updates and diagnostics allow equipment and services to be monitored. The work covers available capabilities, alerts, logs, and application dependencies.
Backups and recovery capabilities are part of this continuity. Their scope, conservation and recovery responsibilities are defined according to the service retained.
The location of our team in Ostwald facilitates direct exchanges. Proximity helps to understand the operating context; the environmental performance of accommodation is assessed on its consumption data and its technical scope.
Active data, archives and backups have different uses. Identifying their role helps determine necessary capacities and shelf lives.
The retention of a history or a security copy is decided according to business and recovery needs. Any changes to these rules must be prepared with the client to preserve useful information.
ADEME's advice on responsible digital technology invites us to examine together uses, purchases, the lifespan of equipment and digital services. This approach provides a useful framework for prioritizing improvements.
Agedis, the IT brand of Cloudlab, ensures the link with workstations and users. Dtouch can intervene on applications and data exchanges; Alltech brings installation and networking skills to the field.
This complementarity makes it possible to specify where a need lies: workstation, application, network or hosting. The responsibilities of each person remain explicit in the project.
The collection actions on the Agedis site in Geispolsheim complete this work: the ELISE 2022 report shows 430 kg of paper and cardboard recovered on this site. The Alltech booklet presents the field actions of this company.
The removal of a storage medium requires treatment separate from that of equipment and waste. Our brand Agedis performs software erasure of hard drives with monitoring of the result and submission of a report, depending on the hardware supported.
For Socomec, Agedis processed a batch of 44 hard drives between August 19 and September 3, 2026. The report sent to the customer on September 25, 2026 includes a summary and an individual certificate for each of the drives.
The report specifies the method used, the processing dates, the results of the checks and any limitations noted on the media. These elements make it possible to keep a trace of the operation in the equipment file.
